Yeah, I was a little angry. And that's the thing. We don't watch a lot of TV. Hardly any TV, really, though Jeff is into soccer now that he's a retired guy. But what little TV I watch should be, you know, watchable.
I didn’t watch the Super Bowl this year but wow, it’s crazy what corporations try to get away with these days. The biggest television event in America that happens only once a year and they couldn’t even get it right? Ridiculous.
But regarding enshittificiation in general - it’s just so discouraging being online these days sometimes, seeing new platforms pop up all the time and feeling a sense of dread instead of the excitement that a younger version of me would feel, just knowing that even when it starts out wonderful as many platforms do, it’ll eventually go to shit. A replacement will pop up but it’ll also fall prey to the cycle of enshittification. Worse things have happened in the world but being screwed over by large companies does not feel good at all.
I feel you. It's a sad and seemingly endless cycle. I don't know if the solution is just to give up on platforms or to try a different model, maybe one that doesn't involve corporations.
Wow. You are pissed! I can see why. I have stopped watching TV altogether unless I can get Queer Eye or Cold Case.

This is a very amusing post and I’m with you, whenever I watch TV, I want to see what the hell I am watching!
At the very least!
You tickle me! 🤣
