I didnāt watch the Super Bowl this year but wow, itās crazy what corporations try to get away with these days. The biggest television event in America that happens only once a year and they couldnāt even get it right? Ridiculous.
But regarding enshittificiation in general - itās just so discouraging being online these days sometimes, seeing new platforms pop up all the time and feeling a sense of dread instead of the excitement that a younger version of me would feel, just knowing that even when it starts out wonderful as many platforms do, itāll eventually go to shit. A replacement will pop up but itāll also fall prey to the cycle of enshittification. Worse things have happened in the world but being screwed over by large companies does not feel good at all.
