A double oven in the previous home was fabulous. One oven makes Thanksgiving crazy but then we have 24/7electricity, running hot water, no one bombing us, boxed stuffing at the corner store. Surely reasons for Thanksgiving. Enjoy your day and your dressing/stuffing.

Love it, Robyn. And I’m with you on the gluttony and waste. Honestly the whole country feeling obligated to eat the same thing on the same one day every year is silly and weird. There is no shame in the box game. Don’t even have to tell anyone.

It is a super weird holiday, isn't it? And the way we stress ourselves out over this one meal. Wow. We're currently on our second boxed stuffing. We bought two we like it so much.

I’m guilty of occasionally using plastic forks and paper plates when cleaning up just feels like one step beyond

After a series of meals and events this week and round 343 of washing dishes, I am all about plastic forks and paper plates.

I LOVE the boxed stuffing! Back when I was cooking for myself, I would steam broccoli and eat it with an entree of boxed stuffing. Not because I am vegetarian, but because it was fucking delicious!

Now, my most wonderful husband does all the cooking (long story), and I have recently convinced him to do with boxed stuffing. Win-win!

Steamed broccoli and boxed stuffing sounds like the perfect meal. I'm glad your husband makes boxed stuffing for you now. That's true love.
