Your Serene, thoughtful reflections, create a serene and thoughtful start of my week.
Sad (actually disastrous) to see the demise of small farms and small farm raised children. Perhaps, Mother Nature is attempting to “wipe the slate clean” forcing the world/humans to try again.
As George Carlin said…
“This old world will shake us off like a bad case of fleas.”
My hands know the right way to "untie the knots" in another person's back, neck or wherevet they get bunche up in pain. They know how to polish a counter in smooth small circles. These are things transmitted directly to my hands from the hands of my grandmother whose fingers were long, knobby, sheathed in small colorful rings and understood everything about the language of touch.
Well Robyn, you have done it again!!

Thanks, Ann! This flea's gonna hang on as long as I can!
Another wow. I forwarded this to my daughter who loves the country life.
Thanks, Betsey. I do miss country living sometimes being in the booming metropolis of Madison!

That's beautiful! The gift of touch is a priceless one.
I was raised in the country but not on a farm.
