Once, many years ago, I read a review someone had about coming to visit our fair city. They were quite happy to have been to Madison with its quaint charms and small town style. However, what grabbed my attention was when they mentioned, with awe, how they could see Kentucky across the river banks and wanted to go explore there but it was “high up in the mountains”.
Reminded me that, for some, we live in a wild, exotic place they’ve never dreamed of before.

I love that. It is pretty cool that you can see Kentucky and even WALK there!
