That last paragraph evoked a very familiar feeling for me, when I've found myself between projects or life upheavals. There seems to be necessary period of unspecified length when I am shedding one skin and waiting for the next one to feel like it fits. Here's to to strength to continue doing nothing whenever it is called for.
That's such a perfect description, Betsy--shedding one skin and waiting to feel right in the new one. Not surprisingly, since I've been back from vacation, the doing nothing feels a little harder, especially with the beginning of the semester creeping up on me.
Like how you have words for my reality so often.
Thanks, Sandy.
