Will Notes feel less soul-crushing than Twitter? Let's find out together

Good morning, lovely You Think Too Much subscribers. Substack has introduced this new feature, Substack Notes, which aspires to replace Twitter, only better? So, okay, I always felt on Twitter like the uncool kid walking into the junior high cafeteria. Maybe this will be better. Come check it out if you like.

Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.

How to join

Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to You Think Too Much, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!

You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of You Think Too Much can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.

If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Doubtful. The only advantage here is that there is built in community. You have a bit of a lunch table geoup.

Right now it’s feeling like yet another place to feel inadequate. Hoping it’s just the initial excitement of ex twitterers who want a kinder place to hang out rather than another space to see everyone else being interacted with. Maybe I’m over thinking it 🤪
