After considering your thoughts on “kindness & gender” I can see clearly what I tried to understand during my nursing career of 50 plus years. If the nurse was unkind, complaints would be filed. An intolerant Physician?
Well, back then, doctors were predominately male, and their behavior was expected/accepted!!;-D)
That sounds exactly right. Not sure if it's changed much, either. Which is especially strange in medicine, which is, in the end, about healing. Don't you need to have compassion and kindness to heal people? Even just a little?
